The women’s soccer team appears to have hit its stride as the T-Ducks won their fourth game in a row after defeating Mountain View College twice over the weekend, 2-1 and 11-2.

Richland College, ranked No. 9 in the NJCAA Division III, received four goals in the second game from Jordan Simpson of Mesquite while Kaylyn Settle of Mesquite scored a goal in both games, extending her goal scoring streak to six straight games.

Both Settle and Simpson lead the T-Ducks in total points with 23 and are ranked No. 23 in scoring among NJCAA Division III players.

Meanwhile, Lilly Valero of Dallas is ranked No. 9 in goalkeeping, having allowed just eight goals in 11 games.

Richland (8-2-1) will look to continue its hot streak at 4 p.m. on Tuesday in a road game against North Lake College. The T-Ducks’ next home game is at 7 p.m. on Friday against Eastfield College.
