The Richland College volleyball team suffered its first Metro Athletic Conference loss on Thursday but not before giving Brookhaven College, the NJCAA Division III No. 1 ranked team, all that it could handle in a 25-17, 22-25, 22-25, 20-25 defeat.

 The loss moves the T-Ducks to 3-1 in conference play and 8-10 overall.
