Sophomore outside hitter Nicole Spruille led a balanced attack for the Richland College volleyball team in a 25-14, 25-23, 25-15 victory in the T-Ducks’ Metro Athletic Conference opener at home on Monday.

Spruille of Tatum finished the match with 10 kills and 10 digs while teammates Ca’trina Burch of Garland and Serita Ingram of Longview also each had 10 kills.

Brittany Hood of Mesquite led the T-Ducks in digs with 11 while Rachel Pinson of Rowlett finished with a team-high 30 assists.

The T-Ducks will look to improve to 2-0 in MAC play when they host Mountain View College at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 23
