The Richland College baseball team holds a two-game lead over Tyler Junior College for first place in conference play after the T-Ducks concluded a three-game sweep at home over Cedar Valley College over the weekend.

Richland College, which also has already clinched a berth in the district tournament starting May 8 in McKinney, outscored Cedar Valley 29-5 in the series, which included a game-winning hit in Game 2.

Trailing 4-3 entering the final inning and facing a 0-2 count with two outs, Trevor Burton hit a two-run single to lift the T-Ducks to a thrilling 5-4 victory.

Richland College also won 14-1 in Game 1 and 10-0 in Game 3.
