Student Success — Congratulations to Richland student Derek Samora who was recently honored as the recipient of the Kim Holley Memorial Scholarship for the 2010-2011 academic year. The late Kim Holley was a highly dedicated and respected Richland student and employee until her untimely death in March 2000. Starting as a student assistant, Ms. Holley progressed through a number of professional career steps at Richland culminating in her service as executive secretary to the president. Whether the person at her desk or on the phone was a student, staff member, District official, or community visitor, Ms. Holley was always gracious, understanding, and ready to serve.
